Steve is CEO of Mindtech with over 30 years experience in the technology market sector. Steve has been instrumental in creating several start-up organisations in Europe and brings with him a track record of success in building strategic relationships and strong revenue streams with tier one companies worldwide. Prior to joining Mindtech Steve held senior positions in sales and business development in leading technology  companies including Imagination Technologies, Gemstar, Liberate and Sun Microsystems. Steve holds a masters in Microprocessor Engineering from Manchester University.

Chris is VP Product Management at Mindtech.  Chris has many years of experience in the semiconductor industry with companies such as LSI Logic, ATI and most recently, Imagination Technologies. Chris has focused throughout his career on visual technologies such as video, ISP, GPU and most recently, AI. At Imagination, Chris held roles with responsibilities for business development, product marketing and product management.

Peter is VP Engineering at Mindtech. Peter has many years experience in semiconductors, with expertise in AI, GPU and VR/AR.  Working at companies including Highwai, Imagination Technologies and ST.  Peter has also been highly active in Khronos, including chairing the NNEF working group.

Justin is VP AI Strategy.  He is a veteran of Silicon Valley with 30 years coding algorithms and machine learning. Recently at Microsoft, he's been involved in both startups and enterprise software development and has spent the last 5 years on building deep learning models from CNNs to Reinforcement Learning.

Charles is CFO of Mindtech. He brings over 30 years’ experience in senior financial roles in global businesses including EMI and Thomson Reuters, as well as significant experience with start-ups.  He has broad experience in helping organisations with their financial planning through business understanding and data analysis, implementing tactical and strategic plans.

Dave is VP Operations. He has over 30 years' experience in the semiconductor industry across a range of product, commercial and IT roles.  He has spent the last 20 years implementing and integrating business systems and processes for a range of business and engineering needs including sales, purchasing, planning, manufacturing and product development. He has specialist expertise in enterprise and cloud based services such as Microsoft systems, Anaplan and SAP.

James is Chief Revenue Officer. He has proven background working with startups to help to achieve building high growth commercial teams globally and enabling disruptive technologies into existing markets as well as new environments. Over the last 8 years specialising in the AI arena in Legal tech, Mobility and more recently with Vivacity Labs providing AI vision based sensors to both private and public sectors.

Hossein is a recognised figure on the world technology stage and an entrepreneur with a deep belief in disruptive technologies. He was founder and CEO of Imagination Technologies Plc until Q1 2016, where he created a business powering billions of devices. He was also behind the iconic brand Pure. His work has deeply impacted many markets. In 2003 Hossein was knighted by the Queen in recognition of his services to technology and innovation. He is now chair/director/investor in several disruptive technology companies including Ultrahaptics, Atomos, Pure, Uniphy, Mindtrace and others. His interests include AI, next-gen UI, cloud platforms, health tech and IoT. He is passionate about helping start-ups achieve global success and scale.

Andrei is a serial entrepreneur focussing on investments in the semiconductor technology sector in which he has been active for more than 20 years. Andrei has worked in senior management positions at leading semiconductor companies, intel Corporation and Samsung Electronics and several technology start-ups. His most recent venture is an IP and ASIC services aggregator and supply chain management company servicing ASIC design houses and fabless semiconductor companies.

Alex is a private equity investor currently managing a portfolio of several technology companies. He is currently the Chairman of Tiscali SpA, Italian telecom operator and a board member of CTC Global Corp. in Irvine, Ca.

From 2004 until 2009, Alex served on the board of MegaFon, one of the largest Russian mobile operators. Following the Russian financial crisis of 1998, Alex successfully restructured CIBC Oppenheimer Global Investment Fund’s Russian portfolio of public equities.

A former US airspace executive based in Brussels, Alex during 1992-1997 served as a Director of Business Development for Hughes Space and Defense Corporation and was responsible for coordinating sales, marketing and strategy development in Europe.

Alex holds MS degree in Electrical Engineering from St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications.

Ashwin Kumaraswamy, is UK’s leading hard and deep tech focussed venture capitalist. He is an entrepreneurial investor and has been involved in all aspects of creating venture-backed businesses, including co-founding new hard and deep tech businesses, working with founders and management teams to build valuable propositions and enabling their growth. He was awarded a Chevening fellowship to take early stage technologies to market and has an electronics and communications undergraduate degree from Bangalore University and a masters degree in System Level Integration from University of Edinburgh

Mark joined Appen in July 2015 as CEO and is responsible for the company’s leadership, strategy and culture. Mark has over twenty-five years’ experience in technology and services. Prior to joining Appen, Mark was CEO of MST Global, a provider of technology solutions to the resources sector. Before that he was the CEO of Integrated Research Limited (ASX:IRI), an international software company listed on the Australian Stock exchange. Mark was also COO of the HR outsourcing company Talent2 (ASX:TWO) and CEO of Concept Systems (ASX:CSI) before its merger with Talent2.
